Nairobi National Park

Overview

The only park that’s within the capital city, 10 minutes drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre. From a long trip or moving from the bustle and hustle of the city centre, Nairobi park is a great way to unwind. It can be accessed easily as an early morning safari, afternoon game drive or even a day trip. The wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered Black Rhino which is one of the big five not easy to spot in other parks. Other wildlife include the African buffalo, the towering giraffe, lion, leopard, baboon, zebra, wildebeest and cheetah. It boasts variety of reptiles like the crocodiles, snakes etc. Hippos and other mammal species; migratory and endemic bird species. Picnic Facilities like:
